Dr Claudio Schonholz, a world-renowned interventional radiologist and a founder of the Monaco GET Conference, is a member of San Francisco Science's Scientific Advisory Board.
Dr. Schonholtz, a Board certified radiologist, now practices interventional medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana where he is also Professor of Radiology at LSU. Before his 2001 move to Shreveport, Dr. Schonholz practiced with Dr. Juan Parodi in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He was also Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology of the Hospital Naval Pedro Mayo and Chief of Department of Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Radiology Department of the Clínica Sagrada Familia - Abraxas Medica (from 1983 and until his move to the USA).
Dr. Schonholz is a graduate of The University of Buenos Aires and the recipient of an Honor Certificate in Radiology. He was a Fellow at The Centre Cardiologique du Nord, Department of General and Vascular Radiology, in Paris, France and in 1996 was appointed to the Academia Nacional de Medicina of Argentina as Specialist in Imaging Diagnosis.
Dr. Schonholz is a member of The Argentine Medical Association; The Argentine Society of Radiology; InterAmerican College of Radiology; The North American Society of Radiology; The Association of Therapeutic and Diagnostic Neuroradiology; The International Society for Endovascular Surgery; The Ibero-Latinamerican Society of Neuroradiology; The European Society for Vascular Surgery; and The International Society of Carotid Artery Therapy.
